The Fall Yoga Retreat returns!!
with Certified Anusara yoga teacher Julia
November 3-6 (Thursday-Sunday)
Upstate New York (North of New Paltz)
To begin again is a very practical invitation. After the long pause created by the pandemic, we will dust off our travel mat (perhaps literally, definitely metaphorically) and meet one another in a shared space for 3 full days of immersive practices. To begin again is also an intentional approach to life, that yoga practitioners cultivate by deepening their understanding of its potential and by experiencing its nuance. It informs how we approach our life’s cycles, how we glean the wisdom embedded in each moment, and it can be the key to unlocking the simple but elusive practice of beginner’s mind. The deep abiding joy that we tap into in our willingness to Begin Again will be our focus and our delight for the retreat weekend.
The daily schedule includes asana, meditation, chanting, imbibing the wisdom of the Yoga teachings and will be supported by delicious meals, our collective intention and the natural beauty of the retreat setting.
There will also be ample time for rest, personal contemplation and excursions to immerse in the beautiful expression of late Fall in Upstate New York’s nature preserves and state parks.
The retreat will be held at the Jewel House in Ulster Park– with a designated room for our yoga practice, a long dining room table, cozy bedrooms, covered porches and other outdoor spaces, it’s a perfect place to come together on retreat.

We intend to create a space that feels relaxed and as safe as possible. To do so:
1. All participants will be asked to limit their potential exposure in the 4 days leading up to the retreat
2. A negative PCR test within 48 hours and a negative rapid test the day of will be required
I will connect with each and every participant so we can discuss these details to be sure we are on the same page regarding these protocols. While nothing is guaranteed, this way we will get to be together while being in support of one another.
