THE PRACTICE UNFOLDS: TRUSTING THE CYCLES
Yoga wisdom clarifies– grabbing tighter onto the edge of your boat will not stop the sea from churning during a storm. The yoga practices cultivate our awareness of the natural cycles that are inherent within and around us so that, rather than being swept away in the drama, we can be present in the ebbs and flows, fully trusting each moment. Anusara yoga gifts us with a sequence of alignment that we apply step by step, and then all over again, to reveal that moving with purpose and joy is possible wherever we are in our own process. Together, in the woods of Cornwall-on-Hudson, we will dive into a focused 3 days of practice to deepen our understanding of the Universal Principles of Alignment, to flow attuned to life’s continual unfoldment.

The daily schedule includes asana, meditation, chanting, imbibing the wisdom of the Yoga teachings and will be supported by delicious meals, our collective intention and the natural beauty of the retreat setting. We’ll enjoy stargazing while fireside with the best of company!

There will also be ample time for rest, personal contemplation and optional daily excursions will include kayaking the Hudson and a country lane walk to collect and carve pumpkins.

The retreat will be held in a beautiful, late 1800’s house with ideal spaces for yoga, dining together, plus cozy bedrooms.
