50 hour Therapeutics course at the World Yoga Center with Julia and Jackie

This four weekend training offers the over-arching concepts of Therapeutics needed to utilize the potency of Yogic healing for oneself and others. The course will provide guidance and the practical information needed to navigate and effectively support the therapeutic needs of students and to safely manage their injuries.

The training includes a comprehensive study of how to use the Universal Principles of Alignment of Anusara Yoga to bring a new and deeper experience of bodily ease and expansive well-being to ourselves and to students.

We will take an in-depth look into the bio-mechanics of anatomy and kinesiology, inquire into the amazingly divine complexity of human physiology, and learn to identify what our eyes tell us when we look at our students.

Practicums on how to use ‘hands on’ adjustments, with clear guidelines and tools, will enable you to support the vast range of injuries and physical idiosyncrasies that you will meet both in the classroom and in your private practice.

This 50 hour training is held over four weekends in April and May, giving ample time for the material to be practiced and incorporated, and your questions addressed.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE: April 11-12,  Apr 25-26,  May 9-10,  May 30-31

HOURS: Saturdays 2-8 and Sundays 1-4, (9-4 on Apr 26 and May 10)

The course will be taught by Jackie and Julia, both who come with exceptional resources.

Julia, WYC assistant director and Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, has extensive knowledge in anatomy, kinesiology and physiology. Using her in-depth training in these fields, incorporated with her years of work with the Anusara Yoga Universal Principles of Alignment, she has create a powerful approach to therapeutics, which she is constantly refining and learning to further articulate in her class and private settings.

Jackie, Anusara Certified Yoga Teacher, is a master teacher, who has offered yoga therapeutics and anatomy training globally and in WYC teacher trainings for ten years, and has two decades of teaching therapeutically. Her class work and private practice has brought healing to many.

TUITION: $700, $650 if you register by 3/1

CERTIFICATION: This 50 hour course can be applied towards the World Yoga Center 300 hour advanced teacher training certificate, or as RYT Continuing Education credits.
